STEM Professional School Partnership Program 2024-2025

Application Page

Science ATL is looking for STEM Professionals to become Catalysts for Metro Atlanta schools. As a Catalyst - an agent that enables a reaction that might not otherwise have taken place - one STEM Professional will be paired with one K-8 educator to initiate 8 interactions over the course of a school year. Motivate the growth of students by expanding STEM opportunities and providing real-world support for a classroom while becoming part of a chain reaction to help challenge, motivate, inspire, and empower our next generation of STEM leaders.

If you are a STEM Professional (anyone working in a STEM-related field) who wants to participate, please review our program expectations on our SPSP home page. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page so you don't miss the important documentation. Return to our application page here to complete the questions below. Make sure you select the "STEM Professional" checkbox in the opportunity description. Please note, after submitting your application, it must be reviewed and approved in order to officially join the SPSP program. You must also pass a background check as part of the application process.

If you are an educator interested in welcoming a STEM Professional in your classroom, please contact our School and Youth Programs Manager, AJ Chestnut Raines, to complete a different application.  For any assistance with submitting your SPSP STEM Pro application, please contact our Volunteer Program Manager, Alvaro McRae. Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
